Colt Black

Colt M. Black is a graduate of Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Services of New York City, New York in 2009 with an Associates degree in funeral service. He is a former firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician with multiple public safety credentials from the University of Maryland Fire Rescue Institute (MFRI) and has served as lieutenant of the former Emmitsburg Ambulance Company. Colt is a licensed Maryland Mortician, Pennsylvania Funeral Director among other funeral service licenses and is the owner of Black’s Funeral Home & the Acacia Society both of Sabillasville. He is active in community service as a member of the Acacia Lodge #155 AF&AM of Thurmont, Frederick Valley of the Scottish Rite, & Ali Ghan Shriners of Cumberland. He is married to his beloved wife Micheala and has three children.
